Our Purpose

We believe our purpose in business is to serve. Yogi was founded on this belief and still uses the idea of using business to serve as its guiding principle.

For us, this means more than just creating deliciously purposeful herbal tea blends. With every ingredient we source, and every cup of tea we make, we strive to support quality, sustainability, and social responsibility on a local, national, and global level.

Awakening Goodness

Our founding values and mission are to inspire ourselves and others toward service, supporting greater health, higher consciousness, and the pursuit of a more peaceful mind, body, and world.

With a common goal of “Awakening Goodness,” we’re honored to work with organizations in our local community and across the globe through partnerships that empower others to achieve their greatest potential and live vibrant lives.

Bridging Communities in Honduras

The majority of the Cardamom we source is from the Village of Santa Tereza de Omoa in Honduras, a community that’s home to 1,200 people; many of whom are involved in the Cardamom growing process.

Our Local Partnerships

Listen to Our Story | Yogi Tea

Serving Our Community

We’re proud to partner with a number of organizations across the globe as well as in our local Oregon community; home to Yogi for the past three decades.

Read below to learn more about the causes near and dear to our hearts in the Oregon community.

Food For Lane County

Together with this local partner, we are on a mission to eliminate hunger in our area by providing better access to food and beverage. For over a decade, we have worked with the FOOD For Lane County team to donate tea to Oregon food banks for distribution, providing over 2.3 million servings of Yogi tea in 2016 alone.

Pearl Buck Center

A decade-long partner, Pearl Buck Center is a local non-profit organization that provides vocational training to adults with developmental disabilities. Through this relationship, we are able to connect with these special individuals in our community to develop skills that they can apply toward gaining full-time, stable employment.

Day Of Giving

Every year, we take a time to pause all production and dedicate ourselves to support friends and local non-profit organizations; including Relief NurserySunshine Division, and the Friends of Buford Park and Mt. Pisgah.

Susan G. Komen of Oregon & SW Washington

We’re honored to support Oregon’s local Susan G. Komen Foundation chapter each year as sponsors of the Eugene Race for the Cure. In addition to our sponsorship, the Yogi team supports as both race-day volunteers and race participants.
