We believe our purpose in business is to serve. Yogi was founded on this belief and still uses the idea of using business to serve as its guiding principle.
For us, this means more than just creating deliciously purposeful herbal tea blends. With every ingredient we source, and every cup of tea we make, we strive to support quality, sustainability, and social responsibility on a local, national, and global level.
Our International Partnerships
Our founding values and mission are to inspire ourselves and others toward service, supporting greater health, higher consciousness, and the pursuit of a more peaceful mind, body, and world.
With a common goal of “Awakening Goodness,” we’re honored to work with organizations in our local community and across the globe through partnerships that empower others to achieve their greatest potential and live vibrant lives.
Bridging Communities in Honduras
The majority of the Cardamom we source is from the Village of Santa Tereza de Omoa in Honduras, a community that’s home to 1,200 people; many of whom are involved in the Cardamom growing process.
Learn more about our partnership with the Village of Santa Tereza de Omoa, and our projects that help to provide the community with better access to educational and professional resources.
Jalinga Tea Garden Hospital Renovation
Located in India’s Assam region, the Jalinga Tea Garden community is home to over 2,000 residents, many of whom work to harvest the Organic-Certified Black Tea leaves used in many Yogi blends.
Learn more about our efforts to renovate the community’s hospital and provide Jalinga farmers with better access to medical care.
The Kumari Project
Founded by the daughter of a former Yogi employee, The Kumari Project works to build safe and joyful childhoods for orphans in Nepal.
Through the Nevandra Association, Yogi supports two projects to provide children in Hyderabad, India with hope for the future by facilitating self-help initiatives focused on love, shelter, health, and education.
Located in Rwanda, the Sorwathe tea plantation has a strong commitment to ethical business practices. One of their programs is the Porridge Project, which serves nutrient-dense breakfast to children at local daycare centers and preschools.
With support from Yogi, Sorwathe is able to extend their efforts to serve an additional 1,000 children, all under the age of two.
With climate change in mind, Naturefund concentrates on buying forests and replanting them to protect habitat for a great variety of species, most notably in Madagascar.
